After the first Jack Frost movie, Michael Cooney slunk away in embarrassment and struck it from his CV… no he didn’t. He returned in 2000 with Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman, and if anything it’s even better than number one.
Jack has a better set of one-liners and several tiny off-springs (I’m not sure that’s the right term but nobody’s watching), he ends up in a snowstorm in the Bahamas (?) and the gore is way over-the-top if you like that sort of thing in your snowman movies.
I had to import this, but UK readers will be pleased to know it’s about to be released in region 2. Bring on number three.
